Soulstice Spa St. Tropez

A quick post featuring a great nude polish! This is St. Tropez by Soulstice Spa, a yellow-toned light beige with pearly shimmer. This shade was released in their spring/summer collection earlier this year.

Soulstice Spa St. Tropez

I found the polish a little sheer, but smooth and even at just one coat. The photos show three thick coats, although I could have gotten away with two if I had used a ridge-filling basecoat underneath. The formula is slightly thick, but it self-levels pretty well.

I really love this colour, and was impressed with the nice formula! Here it is in the shade:

Soulstice Prague and Kauai

Two more shades in my project to photograph all my Soulstice polishes! Which is finished by the way, but most of them still need editing and uploading.

Soulstice Prague

This is Prague, a very fall-appropriate dusty brick/burnt orange creme-based shade with mauve undertones and fine silver shimmer that falls somewhere between pearl and frost.

I used two coats here, and the formula was thin but smooth.

Next is Kauai, a pinkish strawberry shade with silvery microglitter-type shimmer that even looks good at one coat:

Here it is at two coats in the following picture, looking like a delicious strawberry!

Soulstice Kauai

The formula on Kauai was a little thicker than Prague’s, and was excellent. I swatched it without basecoat and I’d say this one is a potential stainer, so be sure to use a good basecoat!

Gosh Fossil Grey and SpaRitual Conglomerate

Today I have a rock-like mani to show you: Gosh Fossil Grey with an accent nail of Sparitual Conglomerate.

Gosh Fossil Grey and SpaRitual Conglomerate

This is two coats of Fossil Grey, which had a slightly thick but good formula. It’s a warm/yellow leaning grey pearl base with silvery shimmer that gives an almost speckled effect.

Gosh Fossil Grey and SpaRitual Conglomerate

On the ring finger I applied one generous coat of Sparitual Conglomerate, from their recent fall collection, over Fossil Grey. It also had a nice formula, and it wasn’t too difficult to get a good density of the black and white hex glitters on the nail.

Gosh Fossil Grey and SpaRitual Conglomerate

I love Conglomerate; it’s quite unique with its deep charcoal grey base, its dense, fine gold shimmer throughout, and its scattered black and white hexes!

On its own, Conglomerate is opaque in two coats. Glad I picked this one up, it’s really interesting and the gold shimmer makes it very wearable for me!

Orly Au Champagne

This lovely white pearl-finish polish is Orly Au Champagne from the holiday 2011 collection. Unfortunately I had an incident involving my index finger and some packing tape before I could take pictures, so I decided to try to cover the chip with stamping which didn’t work that well and went on crooked, but anyway…

Orly Au Champagne stamped with Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire

This is two coats of Au Champagne, no top coat. It dries to this great semi-matte pearly satiny finish, really cool. The polish is thick but smooth and easy to work with. I used Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire to stamp on it with a fleur de lys design from Konad plate M15. The Kleancolor metallics are great for stamping; my stamping skills are still less than great heheh.
