LA Colors, LA Girl

Dear Joanne,
Thank you for your inquiry. Our L.A. COLORS and L.A. Girl nail polishes do not contain guanine, pearl, and carmine. Although some of our L.A. Girl nail treatments may contain silk. Also, the L.A. COLORS Color Craze Collection does not contain any of the ingredients listed below. Even though some polishes state the ingredients “may contain” guanine, please be assured that none of the polishes that are produced contain guanine. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us and hope we have answered your question. Have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,

Subject: Nail polish ingredient question

Hello,
I was wondering if you could tell me if are any animal ingredients in any of your LA Colors and LA Girls nail polishes/treatments (such as guanine (CI 75150, 75170), pearl, silk, keratin, carmine (CI 75470), etc)? If so, would you be able to tell me which products?

I ask mainly because I noticed guanine in a “may contain” list on an LA Colors polish (Seashell shade), but the other LA Colors polishes I’ve seen did not have this ingredient in their “may contain” lists. So, I was wondering if Seashell or any of the other shades actually do contain guanine. And if so, is the guanine from a natural or synthetic source?
Thanks very much in advance for your help!
Joanne
